Lando

Hey guys don't worry, this is another post about one of my friends who served a mission and recently have come home. Meet Lando... :)
sorry for the squinty eyes
I'll never forget the moment I first met Landon. We were at a park and he was ballin it up on the court. As we started talking he was so full of laughter and happiness. haha He is charismatic and well just Lando. I will never forget his rope swing story....hahahahaha Chanting "Lando Comando" at basketball games. Watching him over and over and over again and over again to see if he can move his eyebrows. haha All my memories with this fella are happy ones. And guess what his homecoming talk was on--Happiness--. Here is some things I have learned from this handsome fella.
  • The Book of Mormon should have a sub title call The Book of Happiness
  • If you keep listening to Elder Holland's conference talks it'll make you think that when you speak you can throw it down like he does
  • Whenever he would write me a letter/email, he would always say that the gospel is true...always. He always shared his testimony
  • Prayers are always answered. Not on our time table but the Lords
Landon I am so happy to see you home. I loved hearing you speak today about how much the gospel and your mission made you happy. I am  also so thankful that no matter how long it has been, you can always put a smile on my face. Can't wait for the adventures that await for you. :)

the famous eyebrow haha

Welcome Home Lando!! :)

Summer Concerts

Fun Fact about Jess....I LOVE concerts. There is something about hearing those songs you sing in your car in person, by the artist whose lyrics just hit the spot. I love that one song that every artist has, where the audience brings out their phones for light and light up the sky, its magical. I love the roaring cheers for the encore and the artists singing the best hits at the very end to finish off the night. Thanks to Heid for being my go to concert buddy, Lady Antebellum was perfect. To the Luke Bryan crew...it was so fun to end summer with ya'll. Getting asked to go see my boy Tim McGraw is always a good time, thank you Joshua! (oh and Happy Birthday today as well!) Enjoy my pics :)
that song that lights up the sky >>>>

these handsome fellas are pretty awesome if you ask me

Concerts are always a good time...always. :)

Flaming Gorge

Ask me if I should have posted this post like a long time ago...I should've. However, here is my random, spontaneous adventure, with no agenda, with my second family. Meet Ricky Bobby, Chelly, and Heid! I sorta feel like I have been adopted into their family...just because well Heid is more like my sister than my cousin. She is one of thee most amazing people I have ever met. Growing up, I always wanted to be like Heidi. You know the girl who danced beautifully across a stage, or cheered real loud on a sideline, the chick who can make it to first base and not get out. The one who is so dedicated and strong minded that anything she puts her mind too, she'll find a way to get it done. Basically I could go on and on about her. Over these past few years, I have grown closer to her, and to say I love her is an understatement! Ricky bobby, what can I say, he's my second dad. I have learned so much from him; from snowmobiling, to razor rides, boat cruises, and to jamin out to our boy Tim McGraw. Chelly, thanks for being young and full of spunk. It's not every day that your aunt is the one that is willingly to stay up late dancing and singing, light sparklers at like 2 in the morning, shop all day every day, and is able to give you fantastic fashion advice. I love my family and well thanks you to these three for a weekend getaway! :)

Too many memories made this weekend. Gorge you were Flamin and much love to my family!
