One Year

--1 year, 12 months, 365 days--

These two pictures were taken a year ago on July 13, 2014. 3 days before my best friend and I started our separate adventures. She was headed to Virginia and I was so excited for her...but I had NO idea how I was going to make it without her. I still don't know how it has been a year. I miss her like crazy and can't wait for her to be home. I also am so proud of her for serving. She has been killing it on her mission. Along, with still keeping tabs on me...basically she's the best end of story. Love you Kaycee Shae can't wait for these next six months to fly by!

Also, two claps for having this blog up for a year!

Burr Lake

Please someone explain to me why Bear Lake is called Bear Lake...because every time I have been there it has literally been 0 degrees with wind and then some how I still get sun. Basically, it should be called Burr Lake. It is more fitting. Thee end...now on to this post.
Kennady's Picture can't take credit for it. :)
Really take a moment and look at the photo of Kennady's that Emily took. Little did we know just how cold the water was going to be and that we were actually going to get wet. haha Plus the tractor surly adds (makes) this picture. Ok so now for what I have to say about Burr Lake. First off, I want to thank Christian for inviting us to his property and letting me get away for a summer weekend. :) Friday started with setting up camp and then well bringing out the wave runners. Literally there was a couple solid 20 seconds I was driving with my eyes closed because with wind and water flying at my face it was the best I could do. No judgments. Everyone is alive. :)

From there we came back to camp and played games. Then dutch oven dinners. Like seriously any food in a dutch oven always tastes so heavenly! From there the fire started! I love roasting marshmallows and star-bursts. I love good friends. Oh through in fireworks that's even better. But what makes or breaks anything...is who you are with. I seriously have met some of the greatest people up at USU and I love them, I also haven't seen these girls in a long time. Imagine all of us running to each other and freaking out. Because that's what happened. Seriously love these chicks.

SUMMER--recap

So...basically since I have 47 days left of summer..which means like summer is half way over...I'd thought I would do a recap. Enjoy some pics!
Long-boarding (scooters) is always a good time. Side note--why in the world did I not invent the "selfie-stick", literally genius! It makes capturing moments a lot easier and well you capture some things you normally wouldn't! #selfiestickfan

Boating: is it really summer without it? Plus boating with the best crew around makes it even better. Surfing--not gunna lie I basically feel like I could be Bethany Hamilton ;) haha Tubing--if you have not ever tubed...you are missing out. That's all. You are never too old to tube. :)

Went to a Real soccer game for the 4th. Can you spot a baby boy in there--I can! November can't come sooner :) Also, two claps for Real to one of the best firework shows I've seen in a long time. Soccer.....one word football. You know my love of football post is coming soon.

My girls. Kell and Abs have been there every day since I can remember. We went away to Logan for fireworks on the 3rd. I wish Abs was coming back up to Logan with us again this year however, I am proud of her from doing what she needs do to. I'm excited for Kell this year too..she has a lot of things coming her way this year and I can't wait for her adventures. :)

Needless to say...Summer so far has been busy as heck, but I'm trying to soak in every last minute!

so this is love

Summer Love. Seriously it is the best thing. I mean any type of Love is the best thing ever. (or at least that is what I hear) However, I have known these two love bugs for about a year now and let me tell you they are in L.O.V.E. I seriously am so happy for these two.

It has been so fun to watch them grow together in their relationship. It has also been so fun (stressful sometimes) to plan the wedding. Thank you Pinterest. Everything turned out so beautiful. Like honestly from the dress, to Brookie singing at the reception, to the flowers...etc. I could go on and on. I have missed seeing my twinsies as well. Goodness how did I get so blessed.

Kim and Adam I am so happy that you two our happily married now. I wish you the very best. I am going to miss her cooking (mint chocolate cookies), all the diet pepsi in the fridge, deciding on the pictures, and well just everything. I am excited for the adventures that await you guys. Thank you for letting me be a small part of your big day. Yay for marriage, eternal families, and being in love.

May 30, 1995

I am 20. What in the crap. Seriously where has the time gone. I'd be lying to say that I am actually happy that I am out of the teen years. Teens...well those were some good years full of firsts, challenges, memories...you get the point. I just am excited for what the 20's have in store for me.

My birthday was just another typical day. I went to dinner with the family, Maddox treated us well. I would recommend their fresh strawberry pie to anyone. :) I woke up to breakfast and phone blown up with messages. Then after spending the day with family I headed up to Logan for an adventure with Cassie Lou.

Moving home has been hard this summer...(sure i'll post about that another time). Logan is just well my home away from home. Smithfield decided to have fireworks basically just for my birthday...or at least that is what I like to think.:) I got to see friends who I used to see everyday when school was in and eat ice cream. The car ride is always my favorite. There is probably a good thing that I can drive with my knees and there is something called cruise control. haha Cassie and I basically should make music videos for a living. haha Plus Logan Canyon is B E A U T I F U L right now. So green! At night it's lighted up with stars. :)

I am so thankful for all of those who wished me Happy Birthday. Here's to being 20! :)
